It takes a lot to steal the show in Las Vegas. Nonetheless, Caterease seems to take the Catersource Vegas Tradeshow by storm every year, with crowds flocking to the software company’s booth to see the latest offerings from this industry leader. And this month’s convention was no exception.
With new features and interfaces being introduced at the show, Caterease easily wowed the crowd of users and potential clients who visited the booth. Still, it was the basic functionality and user
– friendliness of this powerful program that once again made the difference.
“We always have cool new things to talk about [fusion_builder_container hundred_percent=”yes” overflow=”visible”][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type=”1_1″ background_position=”left top” background_color=”” border_size=”” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” spacing=”yes” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” padding=”” margin_top=”0px” margin_bottom=”0px” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_direction=”left” hide_on_mobile=”no” center_content=”no” min_height=”none”][in Vegas]”, says Susan Koschalk, Caterease Director of Marketing. “But the real reason for the huge amount of traffic we get is the program itself. It’s the ‘name you know’ in the catering and event management industry, and people are eager to come see how much it can make their lives easier.”
“Caterease is automation made easy,” adds Chris Kopriva, Caterease Director of Sales. “It is incredibly user-friendly, and yet it has the tools to simplify everyday tasks for every niche in this
industry. And since it is specifically designed to look and act like other Windows programs people use every day, it makes the transition easy to imagine. People see Caterease and they immediately think, ‘I can see myself using this – and I can see it really making a difference every day!’”
In addition to doing demonstrations in their popular and prominent booth, the Caterease team also sponsored the brand new Tech Breakfast – which was introduced at this year’s show. Since sponsors were invited to speak briefly at the Breakfast, Kopriva addressed the crowd of 500-600 attendees and spoke about the benefits of automation in general.
“I might have made a nod or two to one solution in particular,” he admits with a wink. And, for the second year in a row, Caterease hosted an evening “Meet & Greet” for all of its many customers
– complete with open bars and delicious hors d’oeuvres.
“We had such an overwhelming response for last year’s first Meet & Greet that we went with a much bigger space this time,” Koschalk explains. “It worked out much better. People had plenty of space to sit – to eat, drink and socialize. We took time at the beginning to introduce our team, and personally thank our customers for their business. And we made a point to circulate the room and meet with individuals as much as possible.
“I can definitely see this getting bigger and better every passing year,” Koschalk adds.
Of course, with Caterease Software, getting bigger and better every year is simply what they do.
