Caterease Inaugurates Training Facility at New Corporate Headquarters

Caterease Software, the leader of the catering and event planning software industry, recently inaugurated the beautiful new training facility at its new corporate headquarters in Naples, Florida. Approximately two dozen lucky Caterease users were the first group to attend class at the location, learning program features and tips from long-time Caterease Director of Training Chris Kopriva.

“It was so exciting to be able to use the new facility,” Kopriva says. “It offers so many benefits over the rented space we’ve used in years past.”

Among those benefits is a state-of-the-art high definition projector wired directly into powerful new audio and video equipment, with a large power screen that drops from the ceiling. While the picture and sound were outstanding for the slide presentation Kopriva used to welcome his class, he admits that wasn’t the first test the impressive system received.

“Well, several of us here are from New England,” Kopriva explains, “and so we used this room in February as the venue for a company Superbowl party! Once it past that test, we knew it could handle the training class environment!”

In addition to the powerful audio/video equipment, the new training room is recently furnished with high-quality tables with pop-up power outlets – and extra comfortable classroom chairs. Students also had access to the professional – grade kitchen with twin refrigerators and microwave ovens.

Of course, beyond the amenities of the venue itself, Kopriva and his team showered this inaugural group of students with bonus “perks” to keep things fun. In addition to donuts and coffee in the morning – and an endless supply of candy in the afternoon – the Caterease team arranged for a local Italian ice vendor to provide frozen shakes for the class. And, since the last day of class happened to fall on “Cinco de Mayo”, the Caterease folks also provided popular Mexican beverages with chips and guacamole.

“It was really a great time for everyone,” Kopriva points out. “Our Director of IT, Jacob Ackerman, even offered a tour of our incredible, state-of-the-art data center – so users of our hosted program could see just how secure their programs and data really are.”

Of course, between the donuts and the guacamole came a serious amount of learning. Students with varying amounts of Caterease experience discussed techniques to book and manage their events, track important information and manage their day-to-day business. Everyone came away with a wealth of information, and a better understanding and appreciation for the powerful tools this program provides.

“The class was a huge success by any measure,” Kopriva exclaims. “I can’t wait to do it all again!”
